Power plant heat pump station and the Vulcan X-Pro series
Vulcan X-Pro series electronic mineral descalers were installed in a thermal power plant heat pump station to prevent the scale from reducing the heat exchange efficiency.
Model: Vulcan X-Pro 1 and Vulcan X-Pro 2
Location: Beihai (China)
Installation Area: power plant heat pump station
Mineral scaling in the heating system of the original heat pump station continuously caused serious heating demand problems. The Beihai Thermal Power Plant had to rebuild the ageing infrastructure of the heat pump station. To prevent future heat exchange efficiency issues, the Vulcan X-Pro series were installed to protect the facility’s operational equipment and to prevent scale buildup from reducing heat exchange efficiency.
3 x Vulcan X-Pro 1 are installed:
DN600, water flow 2600 m³/h (11,447 GPM) installed on the inlet pipe of the plate heat exchanger to prevent scale from reducing heat exchange efficiency.
DN700, water flow 2949 m³/h (12,984 GPM) installed on the water inlet pipe of the heat pump to protect the inside heat exchanger, also to prevent scale from reducing heat exchange efficiency.
DN700, water flow 2949 m³/h (12,984 GPM) installed on the water inlet pipe of the heat pump to protect the inside heat exchanger, also to prevent scale from reducing heat exchange efficiency.
1 x Vulcan X-Pro 2 is installed:
DN1000, water flow 6700 m³/h (29,499 GPM) installed on the water inlet pipe of the heat pump to protect the inside heat exchanger, also to prevent scale from reducing heat exchange efficiency.
