Approximately 2 months ago we fitted a Vulcan device against scale and rust in your home. The water in our area is extremely calciferous. The device showed effect one week after it was installed. We replaced the filters in the fittings during the installation of the device and since this time they have remained free of scale, as has the shower head. Although patches of scale are still visible on the fittings and the tiling, they can be easily removed with household detergents (before it was necessary to scrub vigorously to get rid of the scale deposits, and even then they could not always be removed). The water feels altogether softer.We can highly recommend the Vulcan 5000 device against scale and rust. The installation has already been worthwhile for us.
