The Vulcan descaler device was easy to install without any trouble. When we activated the device the LED started blinking indicating it had been turned on and was working. Our test was to compare the state of the grease traps before and after installing the Vulcan.

Before installing the Vulcan descaler we noticed strong odors when opening the grease trap hole. When we opened the hole one month after the installation no foul odors were observed.

As for the cleaning intervals, monthly cleaning may now not be required. The effect and cleaning intervals of Vulcan will require an annual observation, however, I believe the amount of cleaning will be reduced remarkably. Vulcan tested for 3 Months on Grease Traps:
